The Charities Wiki will include everything about charity organizations, also called nonprofits or nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). Areas of interest include: boards, development and fundraising, disaster relief, ethical issues and standards, evaluation and accountability, legal environment, organizational issues, organizational histories, relations with government and the private sector, staff issues, starting new organizations, statistics, and volunteer issues. Charities include churches, schools, and hospitals in their aspect as organizations.

The wiki is intended to be international in scope, including articles on charity registration, forms of charity organization, and regulation internationally.
