Child Sponsorship
From Charities Wiki
Child sponsorship is a unique system of committed giving, which involves creating a relationship between a sponsor (usually from a rich industrialised country like the USA or Australia) and a child living in a developing country or a poor community within an industrialised country (such as native Americans in the US).
Sponsors and children usual exchange letters, with the sponsor also able to visit "their" child.
